Brothers of Brass take on Jill Scott’s “Golden” and bring it to epic proportions with a larger-than-life southern university marching band arrangement. That sound is translated into New Orleans Brass Band style and swagger with screaming trumpet leads, brazen trombone slides, perfectly balanced call-and-response sections and standout solos by Armando Lopez on soprano saxophone and Scott Flynn on trombone. ‘Golden’ is the lead single off of the group’s upcoming full length album ’Street Life’ coming out on Color Red in fall 2021.
